Larident Star Hydroflask (Flask Only) - 1 Flask
A basic manual method used to polymerise repairs, additions and relines under pressure which helps removes porosity and reduced colour change in treated prosthesis using self cure acrylic in order to improve work quality.
Used by filling them with warm water and using a clamp to create a small amount of pressure in the pot manually.
The next step up from these is the Aldente Aqua Pots (Compressed Air Pressure), then the Palamat Premium (Compressed Air and Full Temp Control).
Allows repairs and addition operations by using self cure acrylic in order to improve work quality. Pressure is achieved by compressing the water inside the flask.
Helps removes porosity and reduced colour change in treated prosthesis.
Must be used with correct clamp. USE with LARIDENT Hydroflask CLAMP
Made In Italy
Approximate Pressure Acheived: 2 Bar / 30 Psi
External Dimensions: 120H x 135mm Dia
Useful Internal Space Once Lid Is On: 80mm High x 100mm Diameter
Basic Instructions:
1. Fill bowl to overflowing with room temperature water.
2. When acrylic has gelled, place it (while still on model) into bowl.
3. Place lid on bowl and slide bowl into clamp
4. Turn handle on top of clamp frame in a clockwise direction until 2 bar / 30 psi is generated. Do not overtighten.
Troubleshooting
If pressure is difficult to generate, try the following suggestions.
1. Ensure bowl is overflowing with water.
2. Ensure lid gasket / seal is secure in the channel of bowl and in good condition.
3. Ensure top of bowl and bottom of lid are free of obstructions, such as cured pieces of acrylic, stone, dirt.
