Kulzer Signum Metal Bond Set I + II - 2 x 4ml - 66033913
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SUITABLE HIGH POWERED CURING LAMP OR LIGHT BOX TO CURE THESE MATERIALS - These material will not cure correctly in a small standard 36w light box. Needs higher powered curing box or wand.
Compatible Curing Light Lamps:
- HiLite Power / Power 3D (Kulzer)
- UniXS / Heraflash (Kulzer)
- SolidLite EX (Shofu)
- Spectramat (Ivoclar)
Metal‐resin bonding agent for crown, bridge and partial denture technique.
- Wide areas of application (acrylic dentures/composite)
- Due to cold adhesion bonding it is suitable for restorations with a chair side application
- Up to 300% better adhesion of composite and acrylic material to precious, non‐precious metal alloys and titanium
- The bonding agent is extremely resilient and remains strong for a long period of time.
Metal Bond I & II Set
- The “2 bottle system” provides an extraordinary adhesive force between the alloy and the veneering composite. Can be used on all Precious, Non -Precious metals including Titanium
Metal Bond I (Bonding Liner Primer)
- Bonding of methacrylate acrylics to metal – Use Metal Bond I
- Air dry bonding liner. One step etch and bond. Self cure application.
- Ensure good bonding between metals and MMA/PMMA resins to be used for dentures.
- Effective in repairing Co‐Cr or Ni‐Cr based metal dentures, and resin dentures with clasps, wires etc.
- Can be used on all Precious, Non -Precious metals including Titanium
Sandblast the surface to be faced with min. 110 μm Al2O3 at 3 bar pressure (non-recyclable abrasive). Then clean with uncontaminated (oil free) compressed air or clean tap water (do not steam clean) and dry thoroughly.
Dispense an ample amount of Signum metal bond I into a mixing dish. Apply to the prepared surface with a fine brush and allow to air dry. Apply a second coat if necessary.
Metal Bond II – Light Cured Opaquer
- Must be cured in high powered light box like Kulzer HiLite Power to be successful. Standard light boxes are not suitable to cure material right through.
- For quick masking of metal structures before adding acrylic or composite (Light cured)
- Bonding of composite to all metal framework surfaces ‐ Use Metal Bond I & II
- Instructions: Shake well and polymerize for 90 sec. with high powered lightbox like Heraflash, HiLite power or UniXS.
- For intraoral use: Polymerize Signum metal bond II for 40 seconds with a dental polymerization lamp / wand (e.g. Translux®). For an optimum bond apply the relevant opaquer without undue delay and without contaminating the surface by touching it. Then apply the composite or acrylic.
