SPECIFICATIONS
Delivery form: 2 x 15 ml Palaseal
*Must be cured in high powered light box like Kulzer HiLite Power to be successful. Standard light boxes are not suitable to cure material right through.
Intended purpose:
This dental material is suitable for patients requiring dental treatment for the following indications with consideration of the contraindications.
Light curing lacquer for surface sealing of dentures, temporary crowns and bridges made of PMMA acrylic.
With Palaseal it is possible to achieve a smooth surface on newly finished and reworked PMMA-based prosthetic components.
The transparent lacquer does not alter the colour of the prosthetic component. The smooth surface prevents mechanical irritations of the tongue and mucous membrane.
Indications: Surface sealing of PMMA-based dentures, temporary crowns & bridges.
Processing:
Smooth prosthesis with emery paper then polish with pumice stone.
Do not use any oilbased cleaning agents.
Blow dry surface well using oil free air.
Use a soft disposable brush to apply a thin, even layer in one direction without rebrushing. Avoid air pockets.
After an exposure time of approx. 20 sec, carry out polymerisation for 90 sec in the HiLite® power, Heraflash® unit.
Position the prosthetic in the light curing unit so that the area coated with Palaseal is irradiated completely.
Repeat polymerisation a second time (90 sec irradiation time) if there are any shaded areas (vestibular fold upper/lower jaw, sublingual areas and interdental areas).
In this case, arrange the prosthetic so that the shaded areas are irradiated completely. Refinishing is not necessary as a smooth, cured surface is achieved.
