MSDS MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET
Clear stiff material that acrylic sticks to. Available in 127mm Square and 120mm Round.
This stiff clear Splint Material is ideal for hard splints, thin splints, surgical trays, orthodontic retainers and bleaching trays.
The material sticks to acrylics for various dental appliances. The versatile splint material will surely be used in any lab or office.
Chemical characteristics: PETG: copolyester

Storage Tip: Prevent Bubbles In Material Once Open
All Splint material is susceptible to absorb moisture from the air that will create bubbles in the material when heated.
Material must be stored in air tight container or ziplok sealed bag in a cool dry place with gel pack. Away from water, steam and humidity.
To make use off effected material, place the material in an oven at 70 degrees maximum for 1 hour to draw moisture out of material.
INSTRUCTIONS REMOVE PROTECTIVE FILM PRIOR TO USE
Thinner materials do not require as much heat as thicker ones. The 020,030 & 040 thicknesses should be heated until approximately ¼” of droop occurs. Thicker materials should heat until approximately ½” of droop occurs. After heating, vacuum form over the model. Thinner materials can be trimmed using a scissor. Thicker materials can be trimmed using a wheel saw.
Storage: This material is hygroscopic (it absorbs moisture from the air). Moisture in the material will result in the formation of bubbles during the heating process. Always store the material in the packaging with dry gel pack provided. Store the material in a cool, dry location.
Note: Material is not made with natural rubber latex, does not contain DEHP or other Phthalates, or Bisphenol A(BPA) and is gluten free.
