Acrylic for making orthodontic appliances. The material was specially developed for use in the spraying / sprinkling process, but is also conditionally suitable for use in the dough process.

This self curing acrylic meets the specific demands in orthodontics as a particularly stable material in the salt and pepper technique. This allows orthodontic appliances to be made in a fast and efficient way. Cadium Free.

Benefits: Increased polymer bead penetration ensures quicker easier working and a stronger and more rigid cured acrylic base allowing stresses to be better absorbed. Minimum deformation change on polymerisation

Handling: Sprinkle powder in a thin layer onto the model and drip liquid onto the powder until the powder is saturated. Add more powder and repeat the process until the desired thickness is achieved. Adding too much liquid at once will result in excess flow. This can be controlled by adding more powder. The correct proportions of powder and liquid create a firm consistency with adequate control of flow. Excess material can be trimmed from the model with a sharp instrument during this “dough” stage.

Mixing Ratio: 10g powder with 5g liquid (when used as dough process)

Curing Time:

Swelling phase: 30s

Beginning of plastic phase from: Approx 3 – 3.5 mins

End of plastic phase after: Approx 10 - 15 mins.

Cure the material under pressure in a Palamat/ Palamat elite / Palamat Premium or similar at 40°C, 2 bar for 10 minutes
